It is indeed

It is indeed a strange universe...a strange world. Events are sometimes predictable and sometimes take turns thtat no one can imagine. I have a lot of thoughts on my mind, but since I'm a big sports fan let me start with that.

NY KNICKS

Patrick Ewing
John Starks
Charles Oakley
Hubert Davis
Charles Smith
Derek Harper
Greg Anthony
Doc Rivers
Rolando Blackman
Anthony Mason
Tony Campbell
Anthony Bonner
Herb Williams
Eric Anderson
Corey Gaines
Gerald Paddio

In 1994, the Knickerbockers trotted out these players onto MSG's hardwood floors; the coach of this squad was of course Coach Rat, I mean Riley. (Ironically, this team's makeup is similar to this year's Heat) The squad was led by the stoic, jumpshooting (philandering) Pat Ewing, the ultimate underdog John Starks, and MJ personal bodyguard the Oak Tree. (on another side note: Does anybody remember the sneaker commerical which featured players such as Sherman Douglas doing moves like the "Sherman Shuffle", and Oak did "The Oak Tree", which was basically Oakley just standing there with his arms folded.) Alas although the squad was able to conquer the pesky Indiana Pacers, led by Larry Brown, they were not able to overcome The Dream and the Houston Rockets. Although they failed to clinch the title this was a tough sqaud who played relentess D adn willed themselves to the Finals.
Fast Forward to 2006 and we are presented with Renaldo Balkman and the fans at MSG resembling angry World Cup fans after their squad lost the championship on a penalty kick. A Strange Universe it is indeed.....
